We talk to Dr Faheem Younus, chief of infectious diseases, University of Maryland, on the role of T-cells in providing immunity from coronavirus infection. There have been several studies that indicate COVID-19 antibodies disappear after a few weeks or months. This has raised worries about reinfection, but now doctors say T-cells are providing protection.
