As COVID-19 cases rise in the US, masks are back, even for fully vaccinated Americans. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reversed an earlier mask relaxation. The health body cited new data that shows that while vaccines remain highly effective, rare breakthrough cases involving Delta have an increased risk of onward transmission.
