'Agents Of Terrorist Organisation': Karnataka School Official Backs Hijab Ban


A day after the Karnataka High Court upheld the state government's ban on hijab in classrooms, Yashpal Suvarna, VP, College Development Committee, Government Girls PU College, Udupi says those students want to wear the hijab can leave the country. In an excluive interview to NDTV, Mr Suvarna branded those protesting against the ban as "agents of terrorist organisations". The original petitioners of the hijab ban controversy have moved the Supreme Court demanding a stay on the Karnataka High Court's decision on hijab ban. However the top court has declined an urgent hearing and has agreed to hear the matter after Holi vacations.
